Today we saw trumpet pretending, Pink Flamingo dancing and  heard the refrains of NAUGHTY. Jess from Northbank Community Gardens took a break from plants and played a few songs and someone was selling a 1972 Fender Guitar Amp from the Boot of his Car. Keep it up, Bello. All is not lost.  Love it.

SOJOURN IN THE CITY

Izzy says the Sojourn has re-inspired him with Cosmopolitan Energy. 

“Great to catch up with the highlights of my past” says he.

	A long ago residence of Izzy Foreal. A warehouse down the bottom of Annandale. He says its 96 but it looks like 69 inverted to me. Iz is doing a goodly bit of retreading the past this trip.
A TRADITIONAL REST STOP IN THE INFAMOUS BULADELAH ON THE WAY SOUTH DOWN THE PACIFIC HIGHWAY. THIS TIME, IZZY CLEVERLY AVOIDED DRIVING INTO THE MANNING RIVER AND NEEDING TO BE RESCUED BY A PASSING POLICEMAN.
	Izzy is a Bagel Man and stumbled across a bakery in Drummoyne which boil them right there in front of him. Meanwhile, back in Annandale is CAFÉ ON JOHNSTON. That has become a home away from home.

Working out a timetable for rehearsals with a guitarist and drummer, for a band version of the Izzy Foreal semi-acoustic experience. Also rehearsing with Kim Banffy with her songs, for some Kim & Izzy performances, but also with the possibility of adding Kim to the band line up on rhythm guitar. It could well all happen.

Against all the odds & sods, Izzy Foreal has survived the rigours of infamy, and is turning 65 on April 18th, 2014 (Good Friday), and he will be celebrating as he often celebrates life: in performance mode. Izzy will be playing with his band Izzy Foreal & Friends, which features Brett Divola and George Finney on guitars, and Christian Fisher on drums. Invitations are being sent out to especially-selected performers, to join the band on stage throughout the day – a list of those who’ll be appearing will be posted on this page. Come along & help Izzy celebrate.
