Hi everyone,
Due to popular demand the SOUTH GRAFTON MUSIC CAFE is
back.
Look out for the last Thursday of each month starting 6.30pm.
Local muscians, dancers, singers and poets, in fact anyone that’s entertaining, is invited to perform at our relaxed and friendly South Grafton Emporium.
An entry fee of $3.00 (children under 18 free) includes a lucky door prize donated by the
Emporium.
Not for profit organisations and groups are invited to raise money, help on the door and run a raffle or 2. The door takings will be donated to the charity or group of the night.
There’ll be the usual fantastic food from Peter’s Emporium Cafe plus the Music Cafe Night’s Special such as a curry night at no more than $10.00. B.Y.O. bring your own glasses (a surcharge if Emporium glasses are used)
Come and enjoy this great evening, bring a crowd, book your special table if you want on 6643 3524 (Emporium Cafe) or 6643 3525 (South Grafton Emporium).
This night will be fabulous with a great audience and our talented local performers.
See you on Thursday 30th April at 6pm at the South Grafton Emporium, 31 Skinner Street.

Family came from afar and some very good friends.
COUPLE OF DAYS TO GO.
Izzy started the Birthday Eve Eve well by stepping barefooted onto a snake on the porch. The rains have passed and the lawns are mown. The swimming pool is clean and the tennis courts are dry. The Blue Room is airing and the Cabana is ready. Almost. Saturday is private party at home for family and close friends. Sunday is the Extravaganza at ILNAM ESTATE WINERY.
Musos are lined up. Visitors are organised from afar.

PREPARING THE PROPERTY FOR GUESTS.

DJANGO REINHARDT – ITS ONLY A PAPER MOON. DINAH SHORE – DEAR HEARTS AND GENTLE PEOPLE. A lot of things happened in 1949. Look it up when you have a chance. MANY MANY things happened that year.

KEL TURNS 85
Legendary KEL MACINTOSH of the KEL AND THE JAZZ CANARIES turns 85 this week. Izzy is playing at his party with Scrubby. Kel is a Murwillumbah Local and the streets come to a halt on Friday nights to listen to his Sax at LUFFLEY CAFE. Happy Birthday Kel. Many more to you.
SIMON HARMAN AND THE EMPORIUM.

IZZY is back from a week on the Clarence where he was well taken care of by Simon – former road crew for Mi-Sex, Zarsoff and others. Izzy is still smiling from the reminiscing and from late night hours investigating new possibilities and plans. He sends thanks to Simon and Rob for the hospitality and inspiration. Despite the flooding rain, it was a real adventure.
Iz had discussions as well with the EMPORIUM CAFE in Grafton where he and the Chick had been eating happily all week. Looks like the management is bringing music back to the Emporium Cafe – Bedouin Tent and all. Its one great Cafe Vibes Venue.

no luffley tonight
Due to the week’s flooding rains, LUFFLEY CAFE is cancelled tonight. Next Gig is BYRON RAILS SUNDAY 5 APRIL. RAIN OR NO RAIN ! Its on !

COMMENTS FROM INHABITANTS OF PLANET ZARSOFF( ZARSOFFIANS).
Isn’t ” bumsweat” a legitimate medical condition? It’s enough to give ya “the blooz” and a “lost watch” will ensure you’re late.Just say “you’re a prick” and “I an’t workin” and I’m yet to see a collar on a pair of “silk pyjamas”,but being the “handyman” that u are I bet you will be “workin it out” and if ya don’t u will be up to ya neck in “dog’s boogie”.
IZZY WITH HIS ONE AND ONLY COLLARED SHIRT AND WAISTCOAT. OUT LOOKING FOR DAY GIGS.
