IZZY FOREAL IN MAY
Been a busy month for Izzy. Busy enough to take a Family Vacation for a week or two and prepare for WINTERSUN in June.
His Girls have been up from the South Coast and bought him DANCING SHOES for the Rock n Roller weekend in Coolangatta. Thats WINTERSUN that is. Took the Girls to Jamiesons for the Saturday Night Launch of the PASPALUM STICKY GRASS PUDDING CD . LAUNCH turned out to be an appropriate word as the rains came and the Outdoor restaurant FLOODED – AGAIN – Damn this drought. First time the crowds actually were DAUNTED and didn’t appear. Nevertheless the Lads played on to the handful of Diners. As for UPCOMINGS – this weekend see Izzy at Jamiesons with Scrubby on Saturday Night. Scrub’s head is a bit swelled with his award winning performance at the NORTH COAST ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY awards. One of the good things that happened was Dennis Gale winning for his song CUCKOO . Scrub came in second with his ONE TICKET. So Izzy has him booked for this week at Jamoze and then at ILNAM WINERY on Sunday.
THEN he takes off on a HOLIDAY. South to KALANG and WEST to ARMIDALE where its been snowing. Looking for gigs en route. Visiting the chick’s family and then back in time for WINTERSUN. For loyal followers this means missing Jamieson’s ONE LAST TIME and THEN IZZY WILL BE BACK !!!!!!!!! and settling in for the Winter.

IZZY has been playing full on through the first couple of weeks of May. Back from the 2000km round trip to WINTERMOON, he had a PASPALUM Friday night at Condong Bowls Club and then a Tallebudgera Gig with DIGGER REVELL, Johnny Carr and the Bloke on Saturday Night.
Sunday was MOTHERS’ DAY at Ilnam Winery - sun shining , raptors and black cockatoos circling and views all the way to the Ocean. Ilnam provided fine foods and wines and the Lads provided the Music. Everyone seemed to enjoy the selection of wines ( though Izzy doesn’t drink it. He don’t mind if his fans know that.) Izzy says it was good to perform to some familiar faces but also to people new to the Izzy Foreal experience. Izzy will be back there on MAY 25th with SCRUBBY PETER HURCOMBE. Come along for SUNDAY LUNCH.

IZZY FOREAL HAS BEEN BUSY
The Month of May has just rushed into being and Izzy has been Busy. PASPALUM took off to the far North for the Labor Day Weekend with new CDS on board. First stop GLADSTONE for a gig with Stewie the Fiddler at the Queensland Rail Institute Hall and then on to WINTERMOON at Cameron’s Pocket.
PASPALUM had 2 gigs at the Festival on the Main Stage . Some of the highlights for Izzy were the Perch Creek Family Jug Band and the beautiful valley setting and the camaraderie of the Musicians. He thought the Ploughboys were very inspiring and loved the wonderful HARE KRISHNA feast without which he would have starved to death. He set up his newly acquired CLUB IZZY and settled in for the long weekend. He hasn’t had to drive 2 days to a gig for many years and thought he would never have to do so again.
Izzy - great to meet up with local performers ASHLEY PERROW AND NADIA SUNDE – who may be making a guest appearance with Izzy at Jamiesons VERY SOON. More than likely says Izzy.
